Physical therapy offers services from a skilled physical therapist for orthopedic as well as other diagnosis. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Assessment: initial and ongoing
  • Gait evaluation and training
  • Therapeutic exercises
  • Ultrasound electrical stimulation
  • Occupation therapy evaluation and treatment
  • Speech therapy evaluation and treatment

Hi, my name is Ron Muhlhauser. I met my wife Anna in Physical Therapy School at the University of Miami in Corral Gables, Florida. We moved to the San Luis Valley in 1997. We are raising 2 children and enjoy life in the Valley, as well as traveling.

My name is Andres Torres and I was born and raised in the San Luis Valley. I attended Monte Vista High School, completed my undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine at Colorado State University and received my Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Colorado Anschuts Medical Campus. I enjoy spending time with family and loved ones, being outdoors and participating in just about any sports.

Jake Mellott PT, ACT

Jake graduated from Del Norte High School in 1993.  He then went to Colorado State University where he studied Exercise and Sport Science and athletic training.  He then pursued his Masters of  Physical Therapy degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver.  Jake obtained this degree in 1999.  He then returned to the valley and began his career in Monte Vista and Del Norte.  In the years since returning Jake has been involved with outpatient, inpatient, long-term and home health care.  Outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine are his primary focus and areas of interest.  Jake has had the privilege to work with and treat professional and Division-I collegiate athletes throughout his career.  Jake also started and remains committed to the high school sports medicine programs in the valley.  Jake and his wife Jill have three sons:  Colton, Kaden and Connor.  Jake loves sports, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
